Workshop Dinner (Heuriger 10er-Marie)

The CKM2014 dinner took place at a "Heuriger", a typical Austrian wine tavern. The one we visited is called 10er-Marie and it is in fact the oldest one in Vienna which is still in use, dating back to 1740 - the year when famous Habsburg queen Maria Theresia entered the throne.

As "Heuriger" is traditionally run by a wine farmer who sells his own wine, nature has it that such places are not found in the city center, but are rather located in the outskirts. Nonetheless, the 10er-Marie can be reached very conveniently by tramway number 2. Enter the tram in front of Opera (direction "Ottakring") and exit at the stop "Johannes Krawarik-Gasse" (the rides takes 21 minutes). The 10er-Marie is just a few steps from that tram station.

Venue: 10er Marie, Ottakringer Straße 224, 1160 Vienna

How to reach: Public Transport: tram #2 (in front of opera, direction "Ottakring" - exit stop "Johannes Krawarik Gasse" (takes approx. 30 minutes)
